ALCERT is accredited as an independent Type A Inspection Body in line with ISO/IEC 17020:2012 requirements and is approved by the Minister responsible for industry as an Approved Body for conducting inspections of all categories of lifting equipment, including but not limited to:
- Tower cranes
- Overhead cranes
- Mobile cranes
- Vehicle service lifts
- Lifting platforms
- Mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs)
- Forklifts
- Manual lifting devices, etc.
Lifting equipment inspections include initial (first-time) inspections, periodic inspections, detailed inspections, and extraordinary inspections. All inspections are carried out according to accredited and approved detailed technical procedures and performed by engineering personnel with high expertise and professional integrity.
